Look what I encountered today

Postby Devil Dog » July 27th, 2010, 10:47 pm

So I am on my way to work this morn.

In a lane a couple over to my left and I see a guy I will refer to as "DumbAss" on his motorcycle.

Lts red, his feet are down and he's talking on a cell phone.

No Problem right, well the lt turns green, he leans his head over to the left and holds the phone between his head and shoulder and takes off down the freak'n road talking away.

If I had not seen it myself, I would never have
believed it.

I wanted to but couldn't because of a curb get over and follow him till he stopped and rip him a new ASS.

We get enough BAD Publicity as "Bikers" without A$$xoles like this on the loose.

The entire Biker world rants about cagers driving and talking/texting ...

and this cumquat is doing it on his bike.

Too bad he wasn't in a construction zone to get a ticket. Troopers are watching them like hawks, as they should.

I agree.. With as dangerous as it is out there, this guy goes and adds to it for the rest of us. What the heck is he thinking?

99 percent of me agrees with you...he is a fool!

however...on a funny side we have to figure out - is it luck or talent that he didnt drop the phone? :scratch_one-s_head:

That would have been priceless to have him drop it and then run over it. I would actually pay to watch that. LoL.

Geeeez... was he wearing a tie too an his way to a business meeting?
If he keeps it up it will catch up to him. If he hits a pot hole and drops the phone his first reaction will be probably to stop quick and get it while the car behind him not only runs over his phone but him and the bike too.

Last year I rode with a group for the first time and one of them was texting while riding down the highway. He would do this by locking his throttle lock and use his right hand to send his texts.

To make matters worse, he would jam his phone down in his front pocket and then dig it back out to check the responses to his texts when he was rolling down the road at 60mph.

Haven't ridden with that group since.

All over the world I agree.. I'm in Turkey at the moment and watch'd a guy on his cell yesterday riding up the side of the mountain, weaving around, I did a bad thing, he was going slow enough for me to inch him of the road before he got himself killed..
